It is an excellent resource to help potential trainees secure their place and prepare for life as a trainee teacher. The guide covers everything from choosing a route into teaching, to teacher training, personal statements, interviews, applying for your first teaching job, understanding the Early Career Framework and much more. It includes a downloadable teacher training survival guide, written for trainees by trainees.

]]> Applications for all postgraduate teacher training courses in England are made through the Government’s Apply for Teacher Training service.

Please click here for a link to the service and for guidance and support with your application.

You will also find useful tips on applying for teacher training on the Get into Teaching website.

Courses usually open for applications in October for entry the following September.  Places are allocated as people apply throughout the year and courses stay open until they are full.  Apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
